Mr. Nyangena is the Ag. Head of Research, Manufacturing and Industrialization Policy at the State Department for Industry, within the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry.

He was Appointed on 2nd March 2022, as Alternate Member representing the Principal Secretary, State Department for Industry. 

Mr. Nyangena holds a Post Graduate Degree in Rural Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce. In addition, he has completed Strategic Leadership Development Programme, Senior Management Course at the Kenya School of Government. He has wide experience and training in Industrial Management. 
He serves in the East African Community Affairs, African Continental Free Trade Area and represents the State Department for Industry in Bilateral matters.

Throughout his career, Mr. Nyangena has demonstrated expertise and leadership in various roles.
