This is a time when governments and other organizations in many African countries examine ways to stimulate Africa's industrialization process. It is also an occasion to draw worldwide media attention to the problems and challenges of industrialization in Africa. This year’s celebrations will take place from 18th – 22nd November at Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC), Nairobi.
There will be conference presentations at the Amphitheatre focusing on priority sectors like leather and leather products, textile and clothing, furniture and access to affordable finance by SMEs. Exhibition will run concurrently with the conference at the KICC courtyard. KIRDI will be exhibiting technologies and innovations on the priority sectors alongside other state corporations under the ministry, focusing on the Small and Medium Enterprises.
